The researchers believe that system computerization project activity provides students with a set of design and technical and information technology knowledge and skills, as well as professionally important qualities to perform complex architectural projects, the ability to quickly adapt and develop new technologies in architecture. Educational projects used in architectural education are practically-oriented, creative, with elements of research. The authors believe that, taking into account the specifics of the architects’ professional activity, their integration into the system of architectural education is most effective in the form of project organization of training aimed at developing professional thinking, students’ creativity in architectural design activities and information culture of future specialists. The project educational and professional activity of the students-architects is aimed at training architects-designers with advanced visual artistic and creative abilities, design thinking, proper ICT competence, readiness to work with architectural and construction information and creative search.
Андрій Литвин Віталій Литвин ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2019-08-08 2019-08-08 1 7 17 10.32447/22185186.2019.1.01 Prospect Trend of Compiling and Defending Master Degrees Papers on Psychology https://journal.ldubgd.edu.ua/index.php/pedagog/article/view/1138
In the article the present trends of cadets and students researches in the form of course as well as bachelor’s and master’s degree papers at the Department of Practical Psychology and Pedagogics of Lviv State University of Life Safety (LSUofLS) are analyzed, the necessity, state and prospects of a new trend of compiling and defending masters’ papers on the basis of researches on psychological and pedagogical peculiarities of compiling distance courses (DC), organization of distance and blended learning at Ukrainian higher schools taking into the account home experience in this sphere and especially cadets of LSUofLS who often combine their studying and working in extremal conditions during constant short term and long term departures because of fires and other emergency situations for the whole period of their studying at the University. The author represents the possibility of implementing such research at the Department of Practical Psychology and Pedagogics because the cadets and students use distance courses proposed by lecturers of the Department of Practical Psychology, other departments of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Psychology and Social Protection as well as other institutes for the whole period of studying at the University. They are also able to evaluate the organization of the DC usage first of all as additional educational materials as well as DC proposed, for example, by a public project of massive open online courses Prometheus and an online education company Coursera, to see their place in improving the University and the near future their own DC as specialists in the sphere of psychology, to conduct their researches on the level of course, bachelor’s and master’s degree papers. The human dimension of the occupations of practical psychologists and social workers is associated with ideological dominant professional interpersonal relationships that manifest themselves at the level of the object (social groups and individuals who need psychological assistance and social support) and the subject (specialists who provide this assistance and support). Their professional activity involves constant, sometimes prolonged, contact with people, mainly communicative interaction with them in a variety of situations including emotionally strained and socially unstable ones that can lead to conflict. The article substantiates the conflict as a regular component of the professional activity of practical psychologists and social workers. The constructive functions of a conflict are considered, which ensure its performance in relation to mutual recognition of participants, optimization of interpersonal relationships, promotion of self-perfection of the personality of a specialist of the socionomic sphere and as a consequence – the improvement of the quality of his/her professional activity. Their effective implementation is based on the concept of active mediation of the individual (A. Petrovsky), according to which the established interpersonal relationships can be understood only in the context of content, values and the meaning of joint activities. The essence of rational-intuitive method of overcoming conflicts on the basis of attracting «social intelligence» (J. G Scott), observance of the rules of key elements of communication is revealed. The separate methodical aspects of preparing future specialists of the socionomic sphere for effective professional communication in possible conflict situations are highlighted.
Лариса Руденко ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2019-08-08 2019-08-08 1 26 37 10.32447/22185186.2019.1.03 Theoretical and Methodical Basis of Professional Training of Future Psychologists on Social Psychology of Old Age https://journal.ldubgd.edu.ua/index.php/pedagog/article/view/1140
The article reviews the content and methodical principles of teaching the subject «Social psychology of old age» to future psychologists, bachelors of specialty 053 «Psychology» with additional specialization «Social Psychology». Due to the domination of authoritarian education, the students have no possibility to express own thoughts, emotions and fantasy in full. This leads to a decrease in the level of success and interest in education. At the same time the formation of a personality is considerably slowing down. Today in market economics times authoritarian education is not effective, indeed, in today’s world, the ability of a person to express his or her own opinion, to put forward new ideas and to implement them is most valued. Therefore, education should not suppress, but cherish a personality’s creative potential. Every person, without exception, possesses such a potential – you just have to find a suitable approach to him/her. The authors propose to build a learning process basing on the respect for a personality, his/her capabilities and abilities. The teacher must have high level of creativity and pedagogical culture and skills.
In the context of improving the professional skills of future military conductors, the teachers of general and specialized musical disciplines of the Department of Musical Art of the National Academy of Land Forces are faced with the task of finding various ways to achieve this goal. One of them is the enrichment of the educational and pedagogical repertory on the discipline «Piano» with the musical works of contemporary authors. The main objective in teaching discipline is to achieve the ability of the cadet to independently perform a musical composition on a highly artistic professional level and skillfully convey its figurative and emotional content to the listener. Increasing the musical performance requirements for future military conductors, short time constraints with the full extent of practical study of musical works according to the working curriculum for the discipline «Piano» requires the teacher to create the appropriate conditions at the lesson to learn the educational material, the introduction of innovations, the application of teaching methods of the subject taking into account the musical abilities of each student for the further growth of his/her professional level. While teaching the discipline, the specifics of the educational and pedagogical repertoire of the piano cover such works as sketches, polyphonic works, plays of small forms, works of the great form, ensemble works, accompaniment, etc. The piano repertoire has to cover the most diverse musical works of Ukrainian and foreign composers; it should be characterized by high artistic content, appropriate pedagogical expediency taking into account the general musical development and individual characteristics of each cadet. This publication presents the results of the creative search for the enrichment of the educational and pedagogical piano repertoire of future military conductors from the academic discipline «Piano» of a teacher with many years of practical experience of teaching how to play the piano, a composer – Ruslana Vavryk. Four (4) compositions for the piano are analyzed in detail: the plays «Joy» and «Fun», sketches for the development of piano techniques No. 1 (a-moll) and No. 2 (a-moll), as well as a work written in the genre of the romance for a voice from the piano «Flower and Soul» on the verses of the poet and composer Mariana Likhovid. Therefore, in modern conditions, a rescuer is required to be creative and innovative, independent and non-standard in decision-making. The article deals with the structure of future rescuers’ training, stages and peculiarities of cadets’ creative self-realization in the process of professional training at the institutions of higher education of State Emergency Service of Ukraine. The authors distinguish four main stages of the cadets’ creative realization, namely: awareness of the profession and acceptance of the content of the rescuer’s professional activity; mastering of the basics of professional knowledge and acquisition of professional skills, formation of professional orientation; acquisition of professional knowledge, skills and abilities, development of professionally significant qualities; full realization and further development of creative potential in professional activity. The concept of production-technical orientation is considered as a component of the professional activity of a modern worker, according to which it means the ability of a specialist to be freely oriented in the technical environment, as well as his readiness to use modern technical systems in the process of performing professional functions. The structure of the production-technical orientation of the modern worker consists of the following components: informative, constructive, activity, motivational, reflexive and creative, structured in two blocks: conceptual and personally oriented ones. It was established that in the process of formation of production-technical orientation the application of multimedia algorithms of component, structural and forecast analysis of a technical object is characterized by a number of advantages and contributes to the improvement of the motivational content of the creative personality of the future worker. A multimedia algorithm for analyzing a technical object as a form of active learning contributes to identifying the potential of each student, taking into account his/her individual peculiarities. The authors conclude that the simulation of the production-technical orientation of the worker in the form of a technical object component analysis, based on attributive and interaction links has undoubted advantages, as it enables not only to gain knowledge about the general structure of a technical object and its main functional bodies, but to develop the system of future workers’ values, their professional position, and to receive scientific and technical information about the composition of the object, the features of its elements.
Йосип Гушулей Ірина Гаврищук ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2019-08-08 2019-08-08 1 88 94 10.32447/22185186.2019.1.09 Improvement of qualification of civil protection specialists in the dimension of modern realities https://journal.ldubgd.edu.ua/index.php/pedagog/article/view/1216
The analysis of legal documents in the context of providing public education on civil protection, technological and fire safety in the advanced training system for officials of ministries and other central executive authorities, local self-government bodies and communal ownership entities, as well as economic entities related to their management. The psychological content of these differences is determined. Stress resistance, in the majority, is understood as a psychophysical state of a person, which provides optimal adaptation to extreme conditions, which allows to solve the duties assigned to it for office and work, while in a state of psychophysical equilibrium, and adaptability is considered as abilities, which include subsystems of individual, personal and subjective properties that provide effective social and professional functioning in the conditions of strong stress with minimal expenses of individual psychophysiological resources and maintaining the mental and physical health. The peculiarities of stress resistance of future servicemen are manifested in greater satisfaction with life, in higher, as in students, levels of stress resistance. In addition, they have more developed such adaptive abilities to overcome stress, such as optimism, adaptive thinking, adaptive sleep and dreams. Cadets are more confident, are able better to manage their psychophysiological state and carry out somatic regulation, organize their time and, in general, they have a high level of adaptability to stress, in contrast to students of civilian higher education. Future servicemen are more inclined to active life position, liveliness, sense of humor, high motivation, they have higher self-control and flexibility of thinking, as well as the ability to distance themselves from traumatic events. The key positions of scientists concerning the forms and directions of organization of physical education classes are researched and systematized. The author’s questionnaire has been developed to determine the psychological factors of the development of athletes in fire-applied sports, and with its help a survey of active athletes of Lviv State University of Life Safety has been conducted. The authors conclude that the development of training programs for athletes in the field of fire-applied sport requires not only paying attention to innovation and technological developments, but also focusing on the moral and psychological component, which affects the outcome of the individual’s sports activities. Therefore, in competitive activities it is necessary: carefully to study the organizational problems, providing the necessary means and materials; purposefully to form a team; and constantly to analyze the negative socio-psychological phenomena that arise between athletes. The results of the topical scientific problem of studying the psychological qualities of athletes in fire-applied sports obtained by the authors indicate that its solution requires an understanding and special psychological training, which should become an integral part of a modern athlete’s professionalism. The success in competitions is due not only to the level of physical fitness, but also the ability to endure neuro-psychological stress, as this sport is accompanied by constant stressful situations.
Ігор Коваль Андрій Ковальчук Андрій Петренко ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2019-08-08 2019-08-08 1 123 130 10.32447/22185186.2019.1.13 Structural Components of the Self-Concept of Future Rescuers https://journal.ldubgd.edu.ua/index.php/pedagog/article/view/1220
Psychological studies of different authors about Self-concept are quite diverse and heterogeneous. The article presents the results of theoretical and empirical studies of the structure of one of the most challenging problems of the Self-concept of students-rescuers, which affects all manifestations of life playing an independent role in human life, from early childhood to old age. The notion of «Self-concept» and the factors influencing the formation of the personality’s Self-concept were defined, the functional-role aspects of Self-concept were clarified, the structural characteristics of Self-concept and the structural components of the personality’s Self-concept were shown. The structural components of the Self-concept of future rescuers – first year students of Lviv State University of Life Safety were studied empirically, namely: cognitive, emotional and evaluative, behavioral ones. It was established that the cognitive component predominates in the structure of future rescuers’ Self-concept, which is manifested in relations with social identity, sociability and independence. The emotional and evaluative component is also inherent in the cadets’ personality structure and has links to the average level of aspirations and adequate self-esteem, moderate rigidity, low frustration, moderate anxiety and aggressiveness. They expect psychotherapists to have high qualifications, knowledge, competence, communication skills, perseverance, hard work, planning skills and organizational skills. However, in the field of understanding the needs of other people, respondents indicate that psychotherapists should be characterized by high empathy. They expect them to have friendly relations, which, unfortunately, contradicts the professional ethics of this specialist. There is a real difference between the expectations of people who need social support regarding the professional features of a real psychotherapist and an ideal one, his/her self-control, self-confidence, personal adaptation, the ideal image of himself/herself, and the feeling of masculinity and femininity. Psychotherapists substantially do not possess high originality, they use the so-called theatricality in behavior, have problems with logical thinking. They are basically not pragmatic; they show rigorous thinking. People who need social support expect a specialist – psychologist or psychotherapist to have high intelligence and the ability to solve problems. The insignificant differences between the real specialist and the ideal one are revealed in such properties as engagement in the work, the search for new experiences, the desire for approval, and the creative attitude to the reality. The features of psychotherapists who perform preventive tasks in inclusion are different from those that are postulated and at the same time expected by people who receive support. A specialist who relies on knowledge, skills and competence in his/her work is able to collect the information about the patient’s needs, including spiritual elements. He/she can use these spiritual elements as psychotherapeutic methods and tools. Such a specialist is able to deal with the topic of spirituality as an element of psychotherapy to prevent social isolation.
Якуб Бартошевський Леся Сікорська ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2019-08-08 2019-08-08 1 141 159 10.32447/22185186.2019.1.15 Prevention of Students-Psychologists’ Emotional Burnout https://journal.ldubgd.edu.ua/index.php/pedagog/article/view/1222
The article deals with the theoretical analysis of the problem of emotional burnout at present. The basic stages of formation and the characteristic of them are revealed. It has been found out that the emotional burnout syndrome develops stage by stage, each stage has its peculiar features, and it is not limited to the professional sphere. The main components of emotional burnout are distinguished: emotional exhaustion, which manifests itself in feelings of emotional strain and in the feeling of emptiness, lack of emotional resources; depersonalization associated with the emergence of indifferent and negative attitude towards people; negative settings that appear in the internal containment of irritation; reduced productivity. Outlined external organizational factors, which include the conditions of the material environment, the content of work and socio-psychological conditions of activity, are dominant in the «burnout» formation. The internal factors that cause emotional burnout include: the tendency to emotional rigidity, intensive internalization of the circumstances of professional activity, poor motivation of emotional impact in professional activities, ethical defects and disorientation of the individual. Among the main factors of emotional burnout there is social insecurity, lack of social support, and dissatisfaction with learning. The authors propose possible ways of emotional burnout prevention among future psychologists at such stages of training as: reasonable choice of enrollees, finding out the reasons for the choice of this profession by enrollees and their desire to work with people, awareness as for the areas of future employment, reasons for readiness for implementation of various types of a psychologist’s activities. The effective means to prevent students-psychologists’ emotional burnout is the use of self-regulation behavior techniques in the learning process, in particular – personal growth trainings, trainings of professional identity and the development of readiness for professional activities that ensure the harmonization of life and professionally oriented values, of academic and professional self-esteem, of aspiration level and correct organization of leisure.
Андрій Цюприк Світлана Федорович ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2019-08-08 2019-08-08 1 160 170 10.32447/22185186.2019.1.16 Psychological Peculiarities of Teenagers’ Deviant Behavior https://journal.ldubgd.edu.ua/index.php/pedagog/article/view/1223
The article is devoted to the complex problem of teenagers’ deviant behavior, which causes the so-called general crisis in many spheres of life. The active assimilation of elements of another culture in Ukrainian education took place during the 16th -17th centuries, when most of the ethnic Ukrainian lands found themselves in a foreign state formation – Rzecz Pospolita. Falling under the force field of foreign culture led to a shift in the contemporary public consciousness, which was first and foremost reflected in cultural and educational movements. In the case of educational institutions operating on the territory of Ukraine in the period of the Early Modern (Ostrozky Cultural-Educational Center, fraternity schools, Kyiv-Mohyla Academy), the article analyzes the transfer of Western European educational forms to the domestic educational space. The formation of own school took place in the difficult conditions of confrontation between two cultural and educational traditions: Greco-Slavic (Byzantine) with Western European, with the strengthening of the latter as a result of the fall of the ethnic Ukrainian territories into Rzecz Pospolita. The transfer of Western European educational patterns enabled the development of the Ukrainian school through the synthesis of the Eastern and Western cultural and educational traditions that were most clearly traced in the activities of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. The successful experience of Kyiv Mohyla Academy was used in Ukrainian education and pedagogy in the next time period.
Галина Антонюк ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2019-08-08 2019-08-08 1 188 198 10.32447/22185186.2019.1.19 V. The process of shaping Ukrainian musical art mastery is closely related to historical and socio-cultural preconditions that absorbed the traditions of national and West-European music cultures. Viewed in this way, substantial interest is being aroused by Ukrainian bayan and accordion art mastery that reflects its music and historical development tendencies as academic, folk and instrumental performance. The important target of Ukrainian bayan and accordion school is to train not only highly professional experts but also many-sided personalities. The author concludes that the important task of the Ukrainian bayan-accordion school is to prepare not only a highly professional specialist, but also a fully developed personality, able to freely navigate the information and cultural space, constantly improve themselves and expand the horizons and possibilities of their own cognition and creative achievements. Bayan-accordion art during the historical development confirmed the theoretical and performing functions as an integral part of school formation, which took place with the participation of prominent figures of bayan-accordion art.
