Abstract

The features of the fires in Ukrainian regions and places of localization are analyzed. Losses in August, 2010 from peat fires are over 22 million hrn. The complex of measures for fires detection is proposed. The article deals with the necessity in development of actions’ and operational plans for each year for extinguishment with forest and peat fires. Contents of these plans and procedures of important authorities and services should be studied and worked in pre-workshops and studies.
