INVESTIGATION OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF EXPLOSION PROTECTED PASSENGER AIRPLANES

Abstract
In this paper we explore ways to improve operational safety of passenger aircraft. In this case, we propose the consideration of mechanical loads occurring in the hull and paneling of aircraft during the flight as well as under the effect of a weak inner explosion. The latter may be a consequence of accidents or terrorist attacks in the air. The constructive elements of the special manufacturing technology particularly nanotechnology can significantly increase the level of explosion protection of passenger aircraft.
