Abstract
For determining the duration of SES units operational deployment during fire-fighting operations in open timber depots the experimental studies of the process were conducted. Operational deployment research was carried out using a fractional factorial experiment. The duration of operational
deployment was determined according to the number of units, the number of fire vehicles set on fire hydrants, the number of fire vehicles set on fire pond, the number of booster hoses and the number of hand barrels. The resulting empirical equations are adequate to experimental results and can be used in fire-rescue practise.
