Abstract

The major fire-extinguishing components that make up the aerosol-producing substances were studied. The basic properties of different types of additives used were studied, and their influence on flame suppression force was analyzed. Using the theoretical data, the most effective formulations of APS consisting of additives like alkali metal salts and organic gasification elements such as diphenylamine, dicyandiamine and others, were identified.
