Abstract

The article deals with the review of the main processes carried out during the creation, existing and extinguishing by foam. The factors influenced on the process of foam resistance are considered. The influence of different-type gas-filler of disperse system on the change of efficiency of extinguishing and resistance of foam is determined. The usage of gas fillers for foam is perspective but is studied not closely. The compounds of inert gases have high fire-extinguishing efficiency, in this case the combination of dominant factors of influence in one fire-extinguishing system will give appropriate increment in fire-extinguishing activity of foam. It is important to concentrate on the studying of the ways of the retarders’ usage in foam structure.
