EXPERIMENTAL TESTS FOR DEFINING THE FIRE RESISTANCE OFWOOD PRODUCTS TREATED WITH FLAME RETARDANT SUBSTANCES BASED ON FILLED CARBORANSYLOXANES
Abstract
Experimental tests for defining the fire resistance of wood products treated with flame retardants were held. Also the efficiency of flame retardant substances based on filled carboransyloxanes was examined. Established results showed that the flame retardant substances are able to maintain their effectiveness after application to the surface of wood products. It was proved that the treated wood samples covered with filled carboransyloxanes have better fire resistance and can be used in buildings of the IV degree of fire resistance. Samples of wood that are covered with special substances have lower properties and can be used in buildings of the IV and V degree of fire resistance.
