Abstract

Methodological aspects of performing scientific testing of fire resistance of wooden products which were treated with substances from the filled carborane silloxanes are discussed in the paper. The ability of substances designed to maintain fire-retardant effectiveness after applying them to the surface of fire protection was identified. Through experiments was established that fireretardant material on the basis of filled carborane silloxanes belong to the first group of coatings for fire-protective efficiency.
