GARBAGE COMBUSTION PRODUCTS WITH INCREASED CONTENT OF POLYMER MATERIALS

Abstract

Combustion products of garbage with high content of polymeric materials were examined. It was determined that gargbage with morphological composition: plastic (20%) + rubber (19%) + textiles (19%) + wood (pine) (19%) + iron shavings (19%) + aluminum chips (1%) during combustion emits toxic substances that pose a threat to human life. Volume of volatile particles, which is released during the burning of debris and calorific value of each garbage component in the sample were calculated.
The conclusion about the necessity of improving a solid waste sorting system is justified.
