Abstract

The article analyzes research methodology and devices of corrosive medium penetrability through thickness of materials used for personal protective equipment. It is determined that today there are standard methodologies of corrosive medium penetrability definition o f special materials by corrosive mediums. The research has proved their substantial drawbacks, which cause incorrect research results and provides negative conditions for Ukrainian developments o f special materials. A new method, which gives an opportunity to get correct research results and increase their trust­worthiness while choosing materials for personal protective equipment, is introduced.
