FEATURES OF THE PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT OF THE POPULATION UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF MARITAL STATE

Abstract

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by russian troops, there has been an urgent need for psychological support of the population.
The purpose of the article is to identify important criteria for psychological support of victims of war. The theoretical analysis has revealed that professional first aid and psychosocial support for the population can contribute not only to individual well-being, but is also important for the formation of a sustainable and secure society.
The article highlights the peculiarities of psychological assistance to different categories of the population: military personnel; families; children and internally displaced persons. The foreign experience of psychological support for civilian and military personnel in wartime is analysed. The tasks of psychological support for participants in international peacekeeping missions include: formation of psychological stability of the military, cohesion; optimal psychological state; psychological assistance in case of trauma; psychological rehabilitation.
The main factors that can affect children's development in a crisis include: stress and trauma; disruption of routines and routines; social isolation; lack of resources; limited access to education; and normalisation of fear and danger. Therefore, it is important to ensure support, safety and stability for children. Psychological assistance to military families includes principles that reflect the importance of an integrated and interactive approach to their psychological and social support. It is noted that for internally displaced persons, information support may be the most valuable, followed by instrumental and then emotional support.
The author outlines the main measures of psychological support for Ukrainians in the context of war: creation of psychological support centres; organisation of mobile groups; development of online resources and platforms; professional training; cooperation with the public.
