Abstract

The algorithm of hydraulic calculation of fountains is offered. Formulas are analysed and systematized for determination of pressure on attachments, and also geometrical sizes of sloping of fountain streamed. This information is utillized, to choose typical size pumps during planning of fountains. It is set that for today the Ukrainian and oversea producers produce much typical size transformers frequencies of electric current, which have high output-input ratios. With transformers frequencies of electric current utillize pumps with three-phase engines, and also pumps with the mounted transformers of frequency.
