Peer Review Process and Publication Ethics

During its work, the editorial board of the journal is guided by the principles declared by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). You can familiarize yourself with the relevant rules on the official COPE website http://publicationethics.org. The editorial board encourages its contributors to observe these norms. This, in turn, makes it possible to ensure the right of the authors to intellectual property, improve the quality of published materials, avoid cases of academic dishonesty, plagiarism and other violations.

After submission to the editorial board, the article is pre-reviewed (1-5 working days), checked for plagiarism, and then sent for review (from 7 to 21 days) by two scientists. In order to ensure high-quality independent review of the materials submitted for publication, this process is double-blind and is carried out by scientists who have a scientific degree and conduct research in a speciality that corresponds to the topic of the material submitted for publication, and are authors (co-authors) in a total number of at least three publications in scientific publications included in category "A" and/or category "B" of the List of scientific specialized publications of Ukraine, and/or in foreign publications indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection and/or Scopus databases for the relevant speciality, published during the last five years.

In the case of two negative reviews, the article is rejected. If one of the reviews is positive and the other is negative, then the article is sent to a third reviewer for review and is accepted or rejected depending on the third review.

If the reviewer comments, the authors are advised to make appropriate corrections to the article. If necessary, the article may be directed to re-review by the same or a different reviewer. The final decision to publish the manuscript is taken by the editorial board of the scientific publication. The manuscripts of the articles are not returned to the authors.

During the review procedure and other interactions, authors, reviewers, editorial board members, and editors must adhere to ethical norms, tolerance, and principles of academic integrity. In case of violations, misunderstandings or conflict situations, we recommend contacting the editorial board at [email protected]. The editor-in-chief of the journal will consider the appeal and make a decision in accordance with regulatory and legislative documents.

According to the Instructions for authors, the last page of the article should contain confirmation of the originality of the research and consent to the collection and processing of personal data, certified by the signatures of the authors. The editorial board of the journal guarantees that personal data, except for those publicly provided in the article and on the website of the publication, will be used exclusively for the internal tasks of the editorial office and will not be distributed or transferred to third parties.
