THE BEARING CAPACITY AND FIRE RESISTANCE OFWOODEN BEAMS REINFORCED WITH EXTERNAL TAPE ARMATURE

Abstract

Article is devoted to the reinforcement of wooden structures. On the basis of experimental studies it was shown that the wooden beams reinforced with metal tape allows to increase their bearing capacity. The most effective way of reinforcing wooden beams reinforcement tape is to set it vertically in the plane of action of bending moment. Integrated use of flame retardant solutions for wood and metal will increase the fire resistance limit of the proposed structures to 30 minutes.
