HEALTHCARING ACTIVITY OF SOCIAL WORK SPECIALISTS: PECULIARITIES OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Abstract

The article reports the experience of inter-sectoral solution of the problem of maintenance, support and mending of health in the Russian Federation. The sense of social-medical assistance as a current direction of social work in this country, is said in the work. The main roles and functions of social-medical workers – professionals of social work, who provide healthcaring activity, are studied and main client groups of social-medical work are presented in the research. Characteristics of structure and content and also peculiarities in professional training of social work specialists for healthcaring activity in Russia, are revealed in the article.
