RESTRICTIVE CONDITIONS OF USING COMPUTER TESTING WHILE STUDYING FOREIGN LANGUAGES IN NON-LINGUISTIC HIGHER EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS
Abstract
The article touches upon the topical problems of foreign language computer-aided testing as a means of diagnosis and control of skills while organizing the educational process at non-linguistic higher educational establishments with defining reasonable scope and conditions of its application. There have been determined advantages of computer-aided testing over the traditional methods of education quality review and its disadvantages with analysis of the possible ways of eliminating its weaknesses. There have been considered restrictive conditions of computer-aided testing application, taking into account the psychological aspect, as well as given proposals on improving efficiency of the existing test systems and expanding the sphere of computer-aided tests usage.
