TWO-HINGED ARCH RISE IMPACT OF CONSTANT RADIUS OF CURVATURE ON ITS LOADING CAPACITY

Abstract

Arch chamber impact on internal force size for two-hinged statically indeterminate arches, axis of which have constant radius of curvature, is researched. Formulas for spreading force determination and internal force in arches with equal length of passage in relation to oblique angle determining radius definition of axis curvature and arch chamber size are deduced. Computed data of resisting moments determination at various values of indicated angle are analyzed. The comparison of obtained results with specific resisting moments in statically determinate arches is conducted.
