Abstract
Basis for involvement of self-similarity criteria to the identification, modeling and features analysis of development of dynamical superchargers characteristics used in fire engineering are studied. In order to identify common self-similarity manifestations the specific characteristics of the water pump and radiator fan of reciprocating heat engine, industrial pump and fire pump are analyzed. The examples of «coiling» of some universal characteristics of centrifugal pumps using internal similarity criteria are
outlined. The simplest approximation algorithms of pump characteristics are defined.
